Okay so I learned some valuable information this time at Oktoberfest. When you arrive at a tent and there are already tons of people in it at 11:30am on a Monday and you notice that the only open seats are reserved, look closely at the reserved sign for the times. Most of the reservations were for after 5pm. You can sit in those seats until then. At Oktoberfest if you don't have a seat you don't get served beer. So now you have a pointer for when you come to Munich.
