A mother and her children outside of their new home in the village of Jhor which is 5 miles north of Kathmandu. This family received a shelter from ServLife after their home was destroyed by the earthquake. To help other families like this and to see all of the good work that ServLife does, check them out at www.ServLife.org #Nepal #servlife #dogood #giveback #seetheworld

Random things you see on the roads of Nepal. Not exactly sure what was going on here, but looks like some sort of wedding processional/ mobile temple/ parade. #random #Nepal #instapassport

Nepali women carry food for their animals in a remote area of midwestern Nepal. The women of Nepal also do all of the domestic work, including caring for the family. Additionally, they move the bricks and rocks for house construction. It was impressive to see how hard they work, but odd to see that they were doing all of the heavy lifting. #superwomen #wanderlust #iamwomanhearmeroar #seetheworld

Elderly woman in the village of Kalyan in the mid-western region of Nepal. The people of Nepal were warm, friendly and happy and seemed intrigued by the Americans walking around the village. I joked that we were the circus freaks because they would stop what they were doing just to watch us. #travelmusings #nepal #wanderlust #travel
